Rhode Island and he consistently breaks news involving high
ranking public officials and headline newsmakers. The John
DePetro Radio Show is also known for its funny, edgy, over-the-top
humor, coverage of local and national news stories, extensive
and probing interviews and no subject or person is off limits.

John, the youngest of seven children, grew up in the Edgewood
section of Cranston, Rhode Island. He developed an interest
in radio at a young age and in fifth grade John interviewed
the famous radio personality Salty Brine live on-the-air for
a school project. A graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School
and Rhode Island College John began working in radio while
still in high school answering the request line at WBRU, the
radio station at Brown University. While in college John worked
at WJMF, WDOM, KABC and KROQ in Los Angeles, and was the Program
Director and General Manager at WXIN. From 1990 to 1998 John
lived in New York City and worked for WABC Radio. John is
married with three children ages 6, 4 and 15 months.
