RI's Turkey of the Year 2002 Contest The voters of Rhode Island. For the past 20 years they have been crying for change and the democrat party machine keeps putting in their people. All those people on talk shows have not convinced anyone and Kennedy keeps laughing at them. THE TURKEY OF THE YEAR FOR 2002 GOES TO TWO PEOPLE. FIRST, FORMER PROVIDENCE POLICE CHIEF URBANO P. PRIGNANO JR., FOR ADMITTING UNDER OATH, IN FEDERAL COURT, THAT HE GAVE TEST MATERIAL TO 3 RANKING OFFICERS OR MORE? AS A PROVIDENCE POLICE OFFICER, I AM PROUD TO SAY I AM A PATOLMAN WHO NEVER RECEIVED HELP OR EVEN SORT IT OUT. WHAT HE DID IS ONLY FRUSTRATE AND DEMORALIZE HUNDREDS OF OFFICERS WHO KNOW THAT NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT THIS TURKEY AND THE ONES WHO CHEATED. THE OTHER CO-TURKEY, IS FORMER POLICE CHIEF AND NOW DEMOTED MAJOR, RICHARD T. SULLIVAN, WHO WAITED 17 MONTHS AS COLONEL TILL CAPT. RYAN RETIRED, TO CONDUCT AN " INTERNAL INVESTIGATION" THAT DID NOT INCLUDE RYAN OR PIRGNANO. THESE TWO TURKEYS' SHOULDN'T RECEIVE ANY PARDON! The 2002 Turkey of the Year (and for the past several decades, in fact!) is none other than Rhode Island's very own favorite (?) BUTTERBALL, Vincent A. "Who's Your Buddy?" Cianci! My nomination follows months of indecision as to whether the residents of the City of Providence actually deserve this honor for electing and re-electing the convicted felon! Without a doubt!! TURKEY of the Year - Our Lame Duck Guv - LINC ALMOND! For his persistently stupid determination to waste taxpayer dollars on the QPD EIS, in his dull-witted & selfish attempt to plop a "2000 pound gorilla" (aka container port) on the shores of beautiful Narragansett Bay. Anyone with a brain knows the only jobs a mega/or mini port will provide at QPD will be going to the sweethearts of organized crime and their union stevedore thugs. So what's really in a port for this Turkey??? He'd have us suffering along w/an ugly megaport here in RI for years to come, while he's quietly retired up on the Cape w/ the Mrs. Hey Linc - don't let the door hit you in the stern!
