The
HardWood Story...
What
should we call this saga?
Listeners suggest:
|
1. "HARWOOD
FLAWS" (the "d" is silent, no?...and
"floors" and "flaws" are pronounced
the same in Rhode Island!:)
2. ( Political campaign "headline"....."The
"Head" Start Program, fully supported
by Harwood and his staff...")
3. Harwood strongly encourages his staff to embrace the
motto: "it is better to give
than to receive"...OR....
"Getting ahead by giving, uh, head.."
(sorry)
4. Chicago may be the windy city,
but Providence is the Wendy city (there's a lot
of blowing going on, no matter how you look at it!:)
5. Harwood is such a blowhard!
(Wait!... blowhard.. hardwood... harwood....
blowhardwood.. blowhar.... hmmm, it's all starting to make
sense now... )
Keep up the fabulous job, John! Proud of your performance
on Imus...... Hugs & kisses (and it stops right there,man...)
Caroline
- I think that
with all of the issues regarding Separation of Powers,
that the proper name for this would be: The
Separation of Lips Scandal
- WOODYDOME
- JOB
SECURITY: YA GOTTA GO ALL THE WAY
- Hardwood
- ASSUMING
A POSITION ON THE HARWOOD STAFF: IT HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS
- WENDYWOOD
- I think "Blow
my Dome" fits nicely.
- HEADwood-gate
- For a catchy
name for the Harwood/Wendy Saga, how about "FOLLYBALL"?
- How about
Sticks and Dicks,
a little reference to Hardwoods hockey days.
- Harwoody
Gate
-
HARD-ONDOME
- From John's
prospective it would be Wendy's
Dome
- THE
WARREN BEATTEY OF RHODE ISLAND, JOHN B. HARWOOD
- How about
SLUMBERDOME?
- Maybe
KNEEGATE?

Poems
Hardwood's face
is red,
His unit is blue,
Friends and power are gone,
Pray tell John, NOW who will you screw???? |
little girl blue......................she
needed the money!!!! |
Family court is
where they met
He thought he'd hire her and make her his pet
Wendy wanted a job but now we all know
John's idea of a job started with blow
Room 126 is where they'd meet
She would work hard but not on her feet
For him she was only there to please
All of her work was done on her knees
She felt ashamed and threatened a scandal
The pressure was more than he could handle
He got her some cash and a job to settle
But Indy caught wind and began to meddle
He blew it wide open
No pun intended
Now the whole state
Is quite offended
Even his supporters
Are asking him to go
Maybe he can get a job
At WPRO

'Twas the day
after Plunder Dome and all through the house
not a not a legislator was stirring not even a mouse.
I was sitting there reading about Buddy and crew when down
the hall I heard such a clatter
so I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
I was taken
by surprise when what to my wondering eyes
should appear but a scantly clad lady and John Harwood Oh
Dear!
Down the hall they ran to the chambers they went with she
in a skirt and he in tails
I thought to myself compared to this Plunder Dome Fails.
