Carcieri whacks the state workers Monday, October 15

They hit us so we hit them. Governor "the Don" Carcieri plays hardball and announces the new plan to increase parking up on Smith hill. 414 pink slips just in time for the holidays with another 592 jobs to follow. Take that Guy Dufault.

The unions are blindsided as the Gov. takes his message straight to the people. Carcieri could have tacked on a "0" at the end of the 414 and nobody even would have missed a beat. The second term will be filled with action and drama as the race for 2010 is already playing out.

Governor Carcieri is doing what needs to be done and nobody has had the guts to do. The state has way too many workers and the party is over. Time for the unions to get real jobs.

Paper or plastic? Former House Majority Leader Democrat Gerry Martineau folds like a "Celona suit" and agrees to work with the feds on Operation Dollar Bill. This was the guy who was suppose to have Hillary Clinton to his house in Woonsocket. Which big company is based in Woonsocket?

Martineau formed a shell company called Upland group to carry out a fake paper/plastic bag scheme. Sounds like the feds said "Up Yours". What is it with Rhode Island and paper bags? The politicians like cash either in the bags or connected to the bags. 900 large for the rep. who parked side by each.

Who is the pharmacy company? Who is the insurance company? Who is next?
